07. The Power of Prayer

“Call on me and I will answer you,” guarantees Allah (SWT) in the Holy Qu’ran. In this book, we seek to motivate children to build a strong friendship with Allah (SWT) and participate in conversation (du’a) with Him.

In our first story, Gone Fishing, Shireen learns that Allah (SWT) always responds to prayers as al-Mujib (The Answerer). However, He may not give exactly what is asked for; rather, Allah (SWT) responds with what is best.

In the second story, Call on Your Creator, Amin is challenged with adversity and doesn’t know where to turn for help. After realizing that Allah (SWT) is al-Mubdi (The Originator), he realizes that God has the power to help.

This book also features a recipe from Nigeria and the story of Prophet Yunus/Jonah (SAW)!
